Leon Cycle Repair is an independent bike repairer based in Cheshire. We provide a pick up, tune up + drop off service to our customers.

 1.     To administer your account as a client

In order to provide our service effectively + ensure the best possible service, we need to collect + process the following personal data:

Personal data type - all collected as part of coming on-board as a client

  • First name, Last name

  • Phone number (normally a mobile)

  • Address

  • Email address

This personal data will be used for the following services + purposes:

  • To administer your account + provide the products + services you have requested from us. For example, invoicing, calling to change a drop off or pick up appointment and to keep a record for legal and accounting purposes.

  • To inform you by email of service information about the company. For example, notification of seasonal opening times or changes to out of hours availability.

2.     To send you marketing communications

We may send all our clients the following marketing communications:

  • Reminders for service intervals, if applicable.

  • News information on cycling and bike maintenance, like top tips for checks you can do yourself.

  • Promotions + the latest related product offers.

We share your contact information with Squarespace, our email marketing provider, so they can send these emails on our behalf. Clients find these communications useful to keep up-to-date with what is going on at Leon Cycle Repair. They are only sent to existing clients and to those who have actively signed up.

The personal data that we process for these communications is first name, email address and mobile phone number. 

I would like my clients to enjoy these communications, so it is important to note that you can opt-out at any time by clicking the ‘Unsubscribe’ link in any marketing communications email.

3.     When you use my www.leoncyclerepair.co.uk website

When someone visits www.leoncyclerepair.co.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things like the number of visitors to the various parts of the website. This information is processed in a way which does not identify anyone.

Leon Cycle Repair uses a third party service to help maintain the security + performance of our website. To deliver this service it processes the IP addresses (a number assigned to each of your devices connected to the internet by your broadband provider) of visitors to Leon Cycle Repair website.

We provide a contact form on our website + collect users’ personal information to enable us to respond. For general enquiries, once an enquiry has been dealt with, the data is deleted in line with Leon Cycle Repair procedures.
