How it works

Leon Cycle Repair offers a tune up service service, which is built around you.

This is how it works…

 1.    Get in touch

Contact us to book in. We will book you in at the earliest possible time. We’ll give you an idea of the costs involved.

2.    Assess

We’ll assess the bike + ring you with a confirmed cost for parts and labour.

3.    Collection

We’ll give you a call to let you know, when your repaired bike is ready for collection.

Choose a bike service to suit

Here's a breakdown of what’s covered....

Bronze package £50

(little fettle )

  • Inspection & adjustment of brakes, gears, frame, forks, handlebars & headset

  • Tyres check for damage and inflated to the correct pressure

  • All bolts checked and tightened

  • Chain lubricated

  • Does not include the cost of replacing parts

Silver package £90

(favourite FETTLE)

  • Everything in the bronze service, plus:

  • Drive train removed, cleaned and re-greased

  • Bottom bracket checked for wear, replacement quoted if necessary

  • Brake calipers removed, cleaned and re-greased

  • Wheels checked over, spokes checked for damage and tension

  • Includes fitting any replacement parts approved by you. Parts not included

Gold package £185

(ULTIMATE FETTLE)

  • Everything in the silver package plus

  • Both hubs are taken apart and bearings inspected for wear, replacements installed if necessary

  • Headset is taken apart and inspected for wear, replacement quoted if necessary

  • The bike is stripped and cleaned thoroughly

  • During the rebuild, we make sure to use the correct paste compounds and lubricants, re-torquing components to the manufacturer specific requirements to get those marginal gains

  • Collect and drop service at your convenience

All prices are for labour only. Any parts required will be charged at cost.

Other repairs and servicing

There’s a minimum labour charge of £25 on any other standalone repairs. All types of wheels are covered. Spoke replacement will be priced on an individual basis, if needed.

Event support

Leon is available to support club rides and events regionally. And will be equipped to manage common problems for riders, in-situ from my vehicle. Get in touch to discuss.
